The PSB arm brace applies pressure to the muscles of the lower arm thereby relieving the tendon attachment point of the muscles at the elbow joint. This is precisely the place where sufferers of tennis or golfer’s arm feel pain.
Indication
A PSB arm brace is used in the event of overuse complaints affecting the lower arm muscles leading to irritation around the attachment of these muscles, also known as tennis arm or golfer’s arm.
Sizing
The PSB arm brace is available in a one-size fits all model.
Applying the brace
This brace can easily be slid over the arm until just below the elbow. For sufferers of tennis arm, the stiffened section should be positioned on the outside of the arm, and for golfer’s arm on the inside. The plastic closure is placed on the outside of the arm, and therefore not in the elbow socket itself.
